Chronosphere
The whole archive, in one window.
Chronosphere sits between the archive and your game folder. Browse the full collection, spot what you’re missing, and chronoshift maps into place with a click.
No downloading maps one at a time, no captcha, no digging through a zip. The app syncs your whole collection at once and keeps it tidy — the fast way to run hundreds of maps.
Every platform
macOS is Developer-ID signed & notarized by Apple; Windows is code-signed via Azure Trusted Signing. Linux packages (AppImage / .deb) are unsigned.
The archive on the left, your Yuri's Revenge folder on the right — matched by content hash, so renamed or re-zipped copies still line up. See what you have, what you're missing, and what's out of date at a glance.
Install any map to your game folder in one click, with a clean undo. No unzipping, no hunting for the right folder.
Broken, heavy, and mod-dependent maps are flagged before they drop you from a lobby.
The embedded map render and community reviews sit right in the detail panel, synced with the archive.
On the roadmap
Every map gets a written description, a distinctive name, and tags — generated locally by nemotron-cascade-2:30b and grounded in the map’s real facts. No more walls of “Untitled”.
Full-resolution top-down renders of every map, click-to-zoom fullscreen — see the whole board before you install.
Deeper categories — mode, theme, tech, resources — and smarter filtering across the whole archive.
Beyond Yuri’s Revenge — Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2, and other Westwood classics.
Find a map by describing it — “small snowy 1v1 with oil derricks” — via on-device embeddings.
Save, organize, and share sets of maps right inside Chronosphere.
One-click “host a game with this map” — chronoshift straight into a CnCNet lobby.
The linter already flags what’s wrong — next it fixes common breaks (missing waypoints, dangling references) automatically.
A documented, CnCNet-compatible API so other tools and bots can search and pull from the archive.
